Durationcouple of hours

Meeting PlaceMBAR
Nearest TubeBaker street, Marylebone
Details & Directions

To the 2009 class! (students and partners!)

You've probably had a few welcomes by now, so hoping not to push too many of you over the edge - allow us to add our own special welcome to you all!

Class of 2009 Welcome Party (17th September 2007, MBAR around 19.00)

The Football Club (http://londonfootball.org.uk/) has got a fantastic line up of events, socials, weekly training & skills sessions, starting from the first week in October (the start of school term).

To kick it all off, The Football Club (you'll see this as the Men's Football Club & the Women's Football Club on portal) proudly invites you to the MBAR for drinks after class on Monday 17th September... one welcome you won't want to miss out on!

We've met a few of you already on the Sunday kick-arounds in Regent's Park - it would be great to meet more of you! More details to follow from Peter Kolev the Men's Club Social Secretary...

Join as a social member

Everyone's welcome to the Club, you don't need to be an expert player, or particularly fit to join the club, you'll be able to join just for the 'social' benefits if you prefer - for those that prefer to watch "the beautiful game" than play it.

Benefits include: the Windsor 10% discount card, Premiership football nights in MBAR, free entry to the Football Club foosball tournie, access to the draw for trips to professional matches, and much more, aside from being part of the largest sports club on campus with a fantastic group of members.

Join to get fit!

If you're focus is on getting fit, then join the club for our fitness and/or skills sessions every the week - well worth it.

Join to play the "beautiful game"

If you also enjoy playing the beautiful game, well, we're pretty good at that also, with all levels of players, we get great results - the Men's team won the Bocconi tournament in Milan last year, and the Women's team came second in the MBAT. Training, skills and practice starts officially at the start of term (first week in October): we play in a Sunday League game every week , as well as booking a 5-a-side pitch during the week for any members that want to play.

If you've any questions, just come along on 17th September to the MBAR, and we'll be happy to answer them for you! Otherwise just come along for a beer...!

Looking forward to meeting you in the after class on Monday 17th September in MBAR!

The thing goes like this: with the entrance ticket, you get the right to receive a Swing class and then stay in the venue for the rest of the night, in a nice olf-fashioned atmosphere.

Of course, there's no need of previous experience, just wishes of having fun! There's no a specific dress code either, but you will enjoy seeing some people's outfit as real swingers. You can bring your partners, too (notice that here the 'partners' are your students :) for a night of fun!!
